Executive Director Of Child Care Center Creates A Path To Stanford Who's Who
Stanford Who's Who acknowledges Janice Samuel-Powell for her spectacular work in the Child Care Industry.


ENGLEWOOD, NJ, March 1, 2010 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- Stanford Who's Who acknowledges Janice Samuel-Powell for her spectacular work in the Child Care Industry. As Executive Director of Vincente K. Tibbs Child Development Center as well as throughout her outstanding professional career, Janice has consistently demonstrated the passion, vision and dedication necessary to be among the best.

Vincente K. Tibbs Child Development Center is a facility which provides daycare and nursery schooling for approximately 90 students between the ages of 2 and 6. As Executive Director, Janice is responsible for directing the operations, handling the budget, meeting with the Board of Directors, payroll, compliance with the New Jersey Department of Health, administrating the curriculum, hiring staff and managing human resources.

Janice earned a Master's Degree in Organizational Leadership from Nyack College in 2007. She is currently working towards a Doctorate Degree. She is a member of the National Association for Education of Young Children. She is also on the Board of the New York State and New Jersey State Association For Education of Young Children.

Mrs. Samuel-Powell is a full-time Adjunct Professor at Hostos Community College and is involved in a number of church outreach programs as well as performing training and speaking engagements on Child Development. When she finds time away from her demanding schedule, Janice greatly enjoys reading and bowling.
